Launched in 2014, PizzApp was the first food-ordering app in Zagreb, capital of Croatia. In the years that were to come, it became one of the most popular apps in more than 15 cities, covering almost the entire country.
In the beginning, this app only enabled food-and-drinks-ordering from the local restaurants, but soon after they had realized their customers wanted more, they added extended capabilities such as like buttons, location finder, push notifications, special offers and much more.
PizzApp main goal was to create a mobile app with a simple design that would allow customers to place orders in less than 30 seconds while ensuring they stay logged in their apps. With their knowledge of customers and our desire to accept all challenges, we made the success!
Each restaurant could create and maintain its menus and also customize additional ingredients and food options, including meal sizes, enabling customers to order the perfect meal that was fitting their taste. With each order, drinks and desserts could be additionally included and proceeded to the restaurants, even during a poor Wi-Fi connection.
Enhanced ordering experience was supported by location-aware and user-recognition functionalities. Built-in GPS feature, while acquiring user data, could send personalized promotions to customers based on their exact location for each restaurant.
With embedded advanced analytics functionality, the system had the possibility to utilize the audience who was geofenced and give them something really special and customized. Order-based history and customer habits, helped the app to create multiple targeted groups with different campaigns running at the same time.
